The REALLY Important Information

 

Payment Methods

We have created an easy and secure way for you to make your payments. Through Intuit Payment Network, (the company that makes Quickbooks) we are able to accept Master Card, Visa, and an electronic bank payments. You can pay here, or you can pay with the URL at the end of your invoice statement. As an incentive to our clients, if you pay with an electronic bank payment you save 5% off of your bill.

 

Deposits and Payment

50% deposit, 50% upon completion.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due, after an estimate is issued and approved by you. The balance of the 50% is to be paid at the end of the project, once project is approved and before the final package is delivered/uploaded. Work starts when deposit is received.

Cancellations

You can make cancellations at any time. Please keep in mind that the 50% deposit is non-refundable.

 

Additional Work During Project (One more thing…)

If there are additional requests after the project has begun, extra fees in addition to the price on the original estimate will apply. Customer will be notified at the time of request of the additional fees.

 

Images & Stock Photos

It’s optional to provide your own images. Fees may apply in specific cases (stock photos, special licensing for photos, etc). You will be advised of these fees after consultation of your project.

 

Search Engines and SEO

We are only responsible for keywords and basic SEO, unless extra services are purchased separately.

 

Abandoned Projects

A project is considered abandoned when – after completion – customer does not get back to us starting at a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks (1 month).

If the balance of your invoice has not been paid, and we are contacted after the 1 month for the files or website launch, an interest fee of $200.00 in addition to the existing balance will apply before the files are given to you or your website is launched.

 

Our Portfolio and Website Credit

The right is reserved to add completed projects to our portfolio. If a full web design and development project was completed, in most cases a credit “website by Evangeline Barbour Designs” will be included at the bottom of your website.

 

Copyright for Logo Design

Client will have the exclusive right to the logo design chosen. All logos are made with no stock images, are 100% custom. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of Evangeline Barbour Design’s rights if they are used in any other manner.

 

Copyright for Web Design

Web designs are created and exclusive to each business. We reserve the right to use stock images, as required, as part of your web design template. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of Evangeline Barbour Design’s rights if they are used in any other manner.

 

Revisions

We allow TWO full rounds of revisions. After that, however, we bill at $25 per additional round.

 

Submitting Website Content

Before beginning a website design project a specific web design questionnaire must be filled out for project efficiency. We ask that ALL WEBSITE CONTENT is given with the web design questionnaire. Keep in mind we are not responsible for proof-reading your content, so please make sure there are no errors when submitting it.

Even if content is not submitted in a timely fashion, payment arrangement must still be honored by the client. Project timeline will not exceed 30 days past the initial start date unless otherwise agreed upon by both Evangeline Barbour Designs and client.

 

Printers

We work with many third-party printers. If there is in some rare case a problem with the printing of your project with our printers that we trust and are affiliated with, we will do whatever we can to resolve the issue. Any costs incurred as a result will not be at the expense on Evangeline Barbour Designs.

 

Printing Color Variations

Each computer screen is different, therefore print materials may not produce the exact same colors. Please provide (or we will help you select) Pantone colors or Web Hex #’s to ensure color matches.

 

Final Artwork File Delivery

Final artwork files are emailed and zipped where applicable. We also utilize Dropbox for file delivery as well, please advise of any special requests.

 

Taxes

8.25% Sales Tax is only applicable to hand delivery or pickup of printed material.

 

Contract with Evangeline Barbour Designs

By entering into a project with Evangeline Barbour Designs, you are consenting to be bound by the terms of these policies and procedures.
